Present were the Honorable Nicolas Bougis, Lord of Fosses and controller and Lady Loyse Gurou, wife of the noble Guillaume Lepaulnier, notary, Lord of the Chapel."

He died between 1687 and 1691 and is probably buried in the cemetery at Cap St. Ignace, where his wife Marie Guyon was buried 1 September 1696. She died between August 29-31, 1696. She was buried September 1, 1696. She was 71 years old.

- Was a part of the 2nd group of French colonists to arrive in Quebec. (Le 2e groupe de colons français arrive à Québec.) His contract, witnessed by one of the brothers Jucherwau was from 1634-1637)
- On July 27, 1636 he put his signature on the first marriage contract to be drawn up in Canada. (It was drawn up by Jean Guyon (his father-in-law), notary royal of Canada for Robert Drouin and Anne Cloutier.)
- Given 29th lot of land in Nouvelle-France (Canada) by King Louis XIII of France. François received six arpents of land in Château-Richer. It appears that he arrived to New France in 1636, according to a note of the Jesuits, one of the first pioneers of New France.
